Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL) provides a united approach on issues affecting local governance for the 276 incorporated municipalities in Newfoundland and Labrador. MNL’s advocacy efforts focus on ensuring provincial policies and programs respect municipal authority, advancing the ambitions and goals of our member municipalities, and furthering the establishment of responsible government at the local level.

Our Mission 

Make Your Mark is an initiative of MNL, aimed at increasing numbers of citizens who run in their respective municipal elections, as well as increase local voter turnout. Through video interviews with councillors and mayors from across the province, Make Your Mark provides real world insight into what it means to be a member of your local council, and why it is so important to get community members involved.
